From March 25 to 27, the biennial China International Nuclear Industry Exhibition held in Beijing National Agricultural Exhibition Center. Nearly 200 exhibitors from 14 countries including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and Russia took part in the exhibition with the latest international nuclear industry technology.
It is understood that the exhibition focused on nuclear power design, equipment manufacturing, construction and operation of nuclear power plants, nuclear fuel cycle technology, non-powered nuclear technology applications. With an exhibition area of more than 8,000 square meters, it is the largest ever in the nuclear industry exhibition and covers the most extensive business scope.
10 technical exchange meetings were held during the exhibition. The authority of well-known units in the international nuclear field, such as the French Nuclear Society and Canadian Atomic Energy Corporation, together with relevant domestic experts, conducted in-depth discussions on nuclear power technology cooperation, environmental protection, equipment manufacturing, and technical services.
China's nuclear power development rate is the first in the world
Kang Rixin, general manager of China Nuclear Industry Construction Group Corporation, said in an opening speech that the current exhibition was held under the favorable situation of China's nuclear power policy adjustment from "moderate development" to "positive development." Nuclear power is one of the effective ways for China to solve energy shortages and meet environmental challenges. The market has broad prospects.
Zhang Guobao, the new director of the National Energy Administration, also painted a blueprint for China’s future nuclear power market. He said, "At present, China is promoting the development of nuclear power at the right time. We plan to adjust the mid- and long-term development plan for nuclear power, and strive to achieve 5% or more of the total installed capacity of nuclear power in 2020."
By the end of 2007, China's nuclear power installed capacity had reached 9.1 million kilowatts, an increase of 30% over the previous year, accounting for 1.27% of the country's total electricity. Nuclear power generation in 2007 was 62.9 billion kwh, which was an increase of 14% over the previous year and accounted for 1.92% of the nation's electricity generation. It is understood that the nuclear power project currently under construction in China has about 20 units and a capacity of 20 million kilowatts.
The exhibition fully demonstrated the achievements of China's nuclear power industry in recent years. Among them, large-scale exhibition boards in the booths of Qinshan Nuclear Power Base, Sanmen Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd. attracted many visitors' attention.
Zhong Yun, General Office of China National Nuclear Power Corporation, told the reporter that through the successful construction and operation of the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station and Lingao Nuclear Power Station, the Group has formed its own brand of improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology, CPR1000. The technology has been used in the construction of Lingao Nuclear Power Plant Phase II and Liaoning Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station. It is the first nuclear power technology of millions of kilowatts for standardization, mass production and large-scale construction in China.
At the same time, major companies such as China Dongfang Electric Corporation, China Second Heavy Machinery Group Corporation, Sichuan Sanzhou Sichuan Chemicals Nuclear Energy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Sichuan Changcheng Special Steel Co., Ltd. have all brought high-level products. .
Kang Rixin said that the localization of nuclear power technology in China has made great progress in recent years. The nuclear fuel cycle industrial system has been continuously improved. A number of key nuclear fuel projects are advancing at an accelerated pace. At the same time, great progress has been made in the application of nuclear technology. The total annual output value of isotope and radiation technology industries has reached 60 billion yuan.
"China's nuclear power development rate is the first in the world." At the show, the nuclear sponsor of the Nuclear Industry Section of the French Embassy in Beijing, Li Ning, told the China Industry News reporter.
Nuclear power standards need to be unified
However, it cannot be denied that China’s nuclear power construction started relatively late and has a low starting point. There are still some weak links. At present, a large number of equipment imported from abroad and advanced technology introduced have not yet been fully grasped and digested and absorbed.
Yang Changli, deputy general manager of China National Nuclear Corporation, said that there is no shortage of advanced nuclear power technology standards in the world. However, if nuclear power technology standards are adopted internationally, domestic nuclear power companies must obtain qualifications or product acceptance during nuclear power construction. To pay a huge price, it can not meet the requirements of the project in time, so that companies lose the competitiveness of the nuclear power market. If a country does not have its own nuclear power standard system, it will not be possible to realize nuclear autonomy in the true sense.
Zhong Yingqiang, deputy director of the Party Group Work Department of China National Nuclear Corporation Sanmen Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., said that when nuclear power standardization was mentioned, China’s nuclear power construction began in 1984 and introduced technologies from France, Canada, Russia, and other countries. Water reactors also have heavy water reactors, and the technical routes and standards are not uniform.
