The Shandong Provincial Department of Finance and the Department of Transportation jointly issued the “Interim Measures for the Management of Public Demonstration and Promotion Funds for Energy Saving and New Energy Cities in Shandong Province”, focusing on increasing the subsidies for buses such as pure electric, plug-in hybrid and super capacitor pure electric. The Measures stipulate that public transportation enterprises and units with districts and cities (excluding Qingdao) purchase natural gas city buses with a unit price of 200,000 yuan or more, and enjoy provincial subsidies of 30,000 yuan per vehicle. Public transport enterprises and units of cities, counties (cities, districts) purchase and use new energy city buses within the scope of state subsidies, and each vehicle can receive a maximum of 200,000 yuan.
