From January to February of 2015, Tangshan Hi-tech Zone completed a total of 71.02 million U.S. dollars of imports and exports, and completed a total of 57.34 million U.S. dollars of exports, which achieved a good start. Among them, the total import of mechanical and electronic products by Japanese-funded enterprises was US$ 12.89 million, accounting for 71.81% of the city's foreign-funded enterprises; the import and export accounted for over 50% of the city's foreign-funded enterprises. Tangshan Panasonic, Guandong Precision, NGK Electric Porcelain, and Koike Acids, etc., have fully promoted the import and export of high-tech zones and even the entire city. The industrial pulling effect of the provincial-level mechanical and electronic foreign trade transformation demonstration bases in high-tech zones has gradually emerged.
