Automobile safety index test evaluation regulations released to provide reference for consumers

The safety index will provide reference information for the determination of auto insurance premiums, automobile safety R&D, consumer car purchases, and government supervision and management.

The so-called auto insurance safety index refers to the “car damage” and “human injury” in auto insurance accidents from the perspective of auto insurance, and the development of crashworthiness and maintenance economy, occupant safety in vehicles, safety of pedestrians outside vehicles, and vehicle-assisted safety Four sub-index studies.

"The development of the 'safety index' can, on the one hand, guide the automobile consumption culture, promote the optimization and upgrading of the entire automobile industry, promote the auto manufacturers to constantly optimize the level of vehicle safety, and effectively protect the rights and interests of consumers; at the same time, through the study of professional automobiles.
