The appraisal committee believes that the new power unit of UP2000-121S has a large sweeping area of ​​kilowatts and high power generation efficiency. It meets the market demand for wind power development with an annual average wind speed of 5m/s and low wind speed. It has a good application prospect and is at the international advanced level. It is recommended to promote the application as soon as possible.

The combined power UP2000-121S wind turbine has developed and applied innovative technologies such as optimal energy capture technology and load shedding control technology through platform design and integrated blade integrated design to improve the economic reliability of the unit. The first prototype was connected to the grid on October 28, 2015. The operation results show that the unit is stable and reliable, and the power generation performance is excellent. Under the annual average wind speed of 5.1m/s (standard Rayleigh distribution), the annual equivalent utilization hours can reach 2000 hours. Up to now, the UP2000-121S wind turbine has completed small-scale installation and has passed the type certification of China Classification Society.

UP2000-121S fan is the ultra-low wind speed fan with the characteristics of ultra-low wind speed wind farm, which is quickly iteratively improved on the basis of UP1500-97S and UP2000-115S low wind speed models, and has lower electric cost. It has set a new industry benchmark. The accelerated application of this model will make an important contribution to the sustainable development of China's wind power industry.
