Last week, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as China Automobile Association) held an auto industry information conference in Beijing to release production and sales data of the national auto industry in June and the first half of the year, and analyzed the situation of automobile production and sales in the second half of the year.

According to statistics from the China Automobile Association, China's automobile production in the first half of this year was 9,529,200 units, an increase of 4.08% year-on-year, and sold 9,598,100 vehicles, an increase of 2.93% over the same period last year. The production and sales of cars have reached more than 5.2 million vehicles, an increase of 5% and 6% year-on-year. SUVs are relatively prominent. Although the entire production and sales volume is less than 1 million, the year-on-year increase is over 30%.

Chen Shihua, director of the Industry and Information Department of China Automotive Industry Association, said that in June this year, the situation of automobile production and sales was generally stable, and there was a slight decline in the ratio of production to sales, but it still maintained a rapid growth year-on-year. In the first half of the year, the growth rate of automobile production and sales continued to rise steadily, among which the growth rate of passenger vehicles was significantly higher than that of the entire industry.

However, it is worth noting that in the first half of the year, the performance of the self-owned brand passenger vehicle market showed a declining trend month by month, and the monthly conditions were lower than the same period of last year. In June, it reached the lowest point in the first half of the year. According to statistics, in the first half of the year, sales of self-owned branded passenger vehicles decreased by 0.16% year-on-year (the total number of passenger vehicles in the same period showed positive growth), which accounted for 41.39% of the total passenger vehicle sales, and the occupancy rate dropped by 3% year-on-year. In the first half of the year, sales of self-owned brand cars decreased by 6.78% year-on-year, accounting for 27.21% of the total sales of cars. The occupancy rate decreased by 3.6 percentage points from the same period of last year.

In this regard, Dong Yang, executive vice president and secretary-general of the China Automobile Association, analyzed that China’s auto R&D funding is not low, but it is dispersed in too many independent brands and it is not a climate. Independent brands need to keep warm and multinational automobile companies have begun to strengthen cooperation. China's independent brands should also fully cooperate in research and development.

Chen Shihua said that after China's automobile production and sales experienced rapid growth in 2009 and 2010, it entered a high consolidation stage. The current international economic situation is relatively complicated, and China’s macroeconomic environment is still facing downward pressure. In the short term, there is no rapid production and sales of automobiles. The driving force of growth is that the automobile production and sales are still in the adjustment stage from the situation in the first half of the year.

Although there is no rapid growth factor, when it comes to annual production and sales expectations, China Automobile Association maintains the forecast at the beginning of the year. Dong Yang said that he maintained the growth forecast of 5% to 8% at the beginning of the year on the grounds that although the sales volume of the first two months of the year was slightly lower year-on-year, it maintained a rapid growth trend from March. If there are no other policy stimuli, the annual sales growth of automobiles will reach 5%; if the relevant departments give certain support to the policies, it is also possible to achieve an 8% increase in the whole year.

The monitoring results of China's auto industry show that in the second quarter of this year, the industry's prosperity index was basically stable, and the trend has shown signs of improvement. Insiders pointed out that there are some favorable conditions in the automotive market in the second half of this year, such as strong market demand and relatively mature consumption. At the same time, policies to guide passenger vehicles to save energy, such as energy-saving small-displacement, small-scale development policies are very favorable for independent brands. However, China Automobile Association still has some concerns, worried that the spread of the purchase will make the market more difficult in the second half.

Yao Jie, deputy secretary-general of the China Automobile Association, stated that the automobile market as a whole still has support. Of course, we must not ignore the negative impact of the macroeconomic slowdown on all parties facing the second half of the auto operation. Recently, the frequency of new projects has been accelerating. The frequency of new products and new models introduced by joint ventures and self-owned brands has also been accelerating. The pressure on competition in China's auto market is increasing day by day, so the pressure of independent brands in the second half of this year will not be lower than In the first half. At the same time, the auto market is very afraid of the spread of local auto purchase restrictions. If there are several central cities and capital cities to follow, the market in the second half of the year will be very difficult.

Iron Based Alloy Powder

Iron-based alloy powder is commonly used in plasma transfer arc welding (PTAW) due to its excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to corrosion and heat. This type of powder is typically composed of iron as the base metal, along with various alloying elements such as nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten.

The specific composition of the iron-based alloy powder may vary depending on the desired properties and application requirements. For example, adding nickel can increase the strength and toughness of the weld, while chromium enhances the corrosion resistance. Molybdenum and tungsten are often added to improve the high-temperature strength and creep resistance of the weld.

Iron-based alloy powders for PTAW are available in various particle sizes, typically ranging from a few micrometers to several hundred micrometers. The powder is usually fed into the plasma arc through a powder feeder, which ensures a controlled and consistent supply of powder during the welding process.

During PTAW, the powder is melted and deposited onto the workpiece, forming a weld bead. The high energy plasma arc provides the heat necessary to melt the powder and the base metal, creating a strong and durable weld joint.

Overall, iron-based alloy powder for plasma transfer arc welding offers excellent weldability, high mechanical properties, and resistance to corrosion and heat, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and power generation.
