Laigang successfully developed 6mm ultra-thin marine steel plate

Recently, Shangang Group Laigang Heavy Plate Factory successfully developed and produced 6mm×2600mm ultra-thin marine steel plates. After inspection, product performance, board type and quality meet the standard requirements.

Since the beginning of this year, the plant has planned and developed new products and trials under the cooperation of relevant departments, and has continuously challenged thin gauge products below 10mm. Due to the high precision of the process technology control in the production process of the thin gauge product, the impact on the equipment is greater, and the possibility of the occurrence of the card steel, the tail, the sickle bend and the like is greater. In order to ensure the smooth progress of product trial production, the whole process of the plant is tracked and controlled, and the production process is rationally optimized to ensure that the steel plate is precisely controlled in every production step such as heating, rolling, finishing, slow cooling and heat treatment. At present, the factory has successfully rolled more than 30 pieces of 6mm ultra-thin specification ship plate steel, and 8mm thin specification products have been delivered in batches.
