Nissan will recall some passenger cars

According to the website of AQSIQ, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. submitted a recall report to AQSIQ. Due to defects in the front wheel hub bearings, it will recall some imported Nissan Jiaben buses from June 20, 2012. The production date is from May 2001 to February 2010. According to the company's statistics, there are 253 vehicles in the Chinese mainland, model E25.

It is reported that the front wheel hub bearing of the above-mentioned vehicle has poor sealability and water may enter the bearing. If the vehicle is driven in the presence of water, the lubrication performance of the grease will be reduced, which may cause bearing damage, abnormal sound and vibration. Although there will be no problems such as out of control steering and tire detachment, there are safety hazards.

For vehicles involved in defects, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. decided to pass through special service stations across the country to replace the hub bearings with improved parts, and to eliminate this defect by improving the sealing performance of the bearings.

From June 20th, 2012, Nissan’s special service stations in China will issue recall notices to the owners by phone or other means.
