Promote China's Intelligent Manufacturing in an All-round Way

All countries in the world generally believe that manufacturing is an important pillar industry that affects the country’s economic development and strongly promotes its sustainable development. According to World Bank data, in 2010, China’s manufacturing added value was 1,925 billion U.S. dollars, the United States was 1,759.5 billion U.S. dollars, Japan was 1,07747 billion U.S. dollars, and Germany was 674.9 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 32%, 13%, and 20% of the national GDP, respectively. 22%, China ranks first in the world. However, China, as a world-famous manufacturing country, is a big but not strong reality and how it has been plagued by people from a big change.

China's manufacturing industry faces four major problems

First, the R&D and innovation capabilities are not strong. For decades, Chinese companies have been following and mimicking strategies instead of leading strategies to promote technological innovation and new product development. In addition, manufacturing R&D investment is obviously insufficient, and the collaborative development mechanism of production, education, and research has not been effectively established, and the incentive policy for science and technology innovation is not in place. All these problems have caused the lack of core technologies in China's manufacturing industry, lack of common technologies, and insufficiency of R&D and innovation capabilities, which has led to many high-end equipment and key components, and even some basic components and electronic components have long been dependent on foreign imports.

The second is the overall lack of efficient management. For a long time, technology and management have developed at the same time. Advanced concepts such as “management is productivity” have not been fully implemented. The corporate development strategy is not clear, management efficiency and innovation efficiency are not high, the industrial chain collaborative commerce system has not yet been established, and the cultivation of innovative talents is insufficient. Failure to comprehensively deepen the application of ERP and other management problems is still prevalent. In 2012, the SASAC conducted a benchmarking analysis and concluded that there is still a considerable gap between the central SOEs and world-class companies. Outstanding performance in the basic management, management innovation, investment in mergers and acquisitions, management information and international business management in five areas. To this end, all central SOEs carry out two-year management innovation activities.

Third, the level of product manufacturing is not high. There are more than 600 million ordinary machine tools in our company. In 2013, the CNC production rate of CNC machine tools in China was only 28.8%, which was far below the level of 60% to 70% of the US, Japan, and Germany. According to another survey of 21 construction machinery companies, the percentage of key process operations using CAM, FMC/FMS, and automated production lines was only 41.5%, 39.1%, and 36.6%. These status quos not only reflect the low level of enterprise automation, but also make it difficult for the product manufacturing data to be highly integrated and interact in real time, as well as the accuracy and efficiency of product manufacturing. In addition, most companies have not yet established an MES system. Even if an MES company is established, its planning and cost control targets have not been detailed to processes and processing equipment, nor have they fully integrated with ERP applications.

The fourth problem is that the two systems have failed to integrate deeply. Although significant progress has been made in the integration of Chinese enterprises, the overall status quo is still not optimistic. As of February 2015, the assessment results of the integration of the two companies in more than 30,000 companies in China showed that the proportion of enterprises in the initial stage of initial integration and single application integration is still as high as 82%. In April 2015, the first batch of 200 companies publicized through the integrated management system of the two countries showed that the new capabilities created by some enterprises are relatively single, and they cannot fully reflect the deep integration of the two.

Carry out the concept of intelligent manufacturing

The core of German Industry 4.0 is to promote intelligent manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing technologies. “Made in China 2025” lists smart manufacturing as the main development direction of the manufacturing industry, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has begun to promote the pilot project of intelligent manufacturing. Both have similar roles in the development strategy and major goals. They all look forward to the mutual penetration and deep integration of the application of information and communication technology (ICT) with the development of traditional manufacturing industries, so that intelligent manufacturing, network manufacturing and lean manufacturing are The widespread application of advanced advanced manufacturing technologies (AMT) has become a reality, which has led to a fundamental change in the development mode of traditional manufacturing industries and ensured the competitive advantages of the manufacturing industry.

Simply put, intelligent manufacturing is the establishment of an enterprise information physics system based on the Internet + ICT, AMT, CAM, PLM, MES, industrial control software, processing equipment, and measurement and control devices. The equipment, products, technologies, processes, raw materials, Integration of logistics and other elements; opening up data barriers in the manufacturing sector to enable equipment and equipment, equipment and people, and people to be connected and interoperated across borders; real-time sensing, acquisition, monitoring and processing of various manufacturing data to achieve manufacturing The dynamic optimization and adjustment of system processing instructions and the intelligent analysis of big data; thus changing the traditional single manufacturing model, comprehensively improving the precision, quality, efficiency and intelligence of product manufacturing to meet the increasingly personalized customer needs.

However, product manufacturing, as an enterprise's executive business, is also inevitably linked to other levels of business. It is not only the degree of intelligence that measures its overall level, it should be synchronized to a wider range of integrated industrial chain, sales, research and development, planning, logistics, Basic information such as cost, delivery, service, and decision-making; fully unlocks data barriers in enterprises and industry chains; accelerates the integration of ERP, APS, SCM, and MES; real-time processing of shop floor production operations information to realize the intelligence of big data in each business segment of the company Analysis and decision-making optimization; ensuring the continuous balance of workshop production operations and the optimal allocation of resources for enterprises and industry chains from the source, so as to fully achieve the goal of synergistic development of the Internet+enterprise and industrial chain, and create new business value.

Develop a differentiated and leapfrog implementation path

At the same time, we must also see that China and Germany have great differences in their national conditions, technologies, basics and development stages. German companies as a whole are at the industrial 3.0 level and are beginning to move towards the 4.0 industry development phase. The vast majority of China's enterprises are still at the industry 2.0 level. A few companies are beginning to move closer to the industry's 3.0 level and are not on the same starting line with each other. This requires that Chinese companies must establish differentiated and leap-forward implementation paths when promoting smart manufacturing.

In general: First, we cannot simply think that intelligent manufacturing is the intelligentization of the Internet + workshop, nor can we place too much emphasis on the degree of intelligentization of processing equipment, let alone the optimization and reorganization of enterprise business systems related to the overall improvement of the level of smart manufacturing.

The second is to establish an enterprise information physics system based on Internet + ICT, AMT, industrial software, processing equipment, and measurement and control devices as soon as possible to break the data barriers of enterprises and industrial chains and improve the ability of big data intelligent analysis and decision-making.

The third is to add new intelligent devices such as industrial robots, flexible manufacturing systems and new sensors, upgrade and upgrade the existing general machine tools, production line CNC functions, numerical control rate and networking rate, and also to optimize the adjustment of product manufacturing processes and workshop equipment process Arrangement.

Fourth, in accordance with the strategy-model-process management concept, the Group will optimize the restructuring of business models, business processes, and supporting systems centered on R&D, manufacturing, management, and services, and actively promote the relevant standards system.

In short, China's enterprises to promote intelligent manufacturing must be based on the direction of smart factory construction, we must establish a smart manufacturing system, but also simultaneously establish a closely associated with the intelligent research and development, intelligent management and intelligent service system; both to establish a full range of enterprises The information physics system, transforming and upgrading the existing processing equipment and manufacturing processes of the company, must also simultaneously optimize the existing business system of the restructured enterprise, open up the data barriers of the enterprise and industrial chain, and enable them to be deeply integrated and fully developed. This is the original intention of China's Zhi Zhi and even “Made in China 2025”. All of these should be actively and orderly progressed under the guidance of the overall planning of smart manufacturing of their respective companies.
