On May 7, 2014, the 15th China Beijing International Natural Gas Vehicles and Refueling Equipment Exhibition (NGVCHINA2014, referred to as Beijing Natural Gas Exhibition) was held at China International Exhibition Center (new hall). From the original agricultural exhibition hall to the new national exhibition this year, the scale of the natural gas exhibition is gradually expanding, and natural gas vehicles are getting more and more attention.

The reporter noted that despite the increase in the number of vehicle companies participating in the exhibition, the absence of all mainstream engine companies has become a major regret for the current natural gas exhibition.

New booster vehicle exhibitors increased to four <br> <br> compared to 2013, 2014, participating commercial enterprises increased. From 2013, two joint trucks and Shaanxi Auto, and this year, a total of four vehicle companies came to participate, namely, FAW Jiefang, Shaanxi Automobile, Bei Ben Heavy Duty Truck and joint truck.

Judging from the exhibitions in the past three years, Union Trucks and Shaanxi Auto have participated in natural gas exhibitions for three consecutive years, and Liberation and Bei Ben Heavy-Duty are exhibiting again after they were absent in 2013.

As the leader of the domestic natural gas heavy truck, Shaanxi Automobile Group has always insisted on participating in the Beijing Natural Gas Exhibition. In this year's natural gas show, Shaanxi Automobile Desen New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. under the Shaanxi Automobile Group came to the exhibition and brought two natural gas trucks - DeLong New M3000 tractor and DeLong New M3000 dual fuel city dreg truck .

Shaanxi Steam heavy truck staff told reporters that Delong new M30006X4 dual-fuel new environmentally friendly muck vehicle adopts diesel and natural gas dual fuel mode on the basis of retaining the original car engine system, and the vehicle can be in the mode of mixed combustion of diesel and diesel natural gas. Free conversion, in the case of exhausted gas, can still continue to operate on the basis of the combustion of diesel fuel; due to maintaining the optimal ratio of natural gas and diesel (95:5), the vehicle can well adapt to the work of the transport of diesel dump trucks. The reporter learned that the engine that this vehicle carries is China's first high-power cylinder high-pressure direct-injection natural gas engine (HPDI) released on March 13, 2012 by Weichai. Compared with the current popular spark plug ignition type natural gas engine, HPDI engine through the introduction of Westport's unique high pressure direct injection compression ignition technology, in-cylinder combustion without electronic spark plug ignition, with the same power and torque as diesel engines.

As an “old member” of the Beijing Natural Gas Show, the joint truck will bring a 6×4 city muck truck, 6×4K gold version tractors and an 8×4 LNG cryogenic liquid transport vehicle. A staff member told the reporter that this year's joint trucks performed well in the natural gas field. In the first four months, a total of more than 1,300 natural gas heavy truck orders were received, 500 of which were delivered.

For participating in the Beijing Natural Gas Show, Shen Yangbo, deputy general manager of the Joint Truck Marketing Service Co., Ltd., told reporters that the joint truck exhibitors will bring the most popular products on the market. “Among them, urban slag trucks have become a hot spot in the heavy-duty truck market. LNG urban slag trucks brought by combined trucks have received orders from Shenzhen and Shijiazhuang users because of their environmental protection and economy. ."

Liberation and the Beichen heavy-duty truck bring the same model as the Beijing auto show.


The liberation brought three models, namely the J6LLNG truck, J6PLNG dump truck and Tianqi V6×2 tractor produced by FAW Qingdao. The first two models were new products just exhibited at the Beijing auto show. The liberation staff told the reporter that in 2013 they liberated 7,000 natural gas vehicles, mainly FAW Qingdao's products. This time, FAW liberation not only brought gas trucks from FAW Qingdao, but also brought new products produced by the company to liberate Changchun, demonstrating that Liberation wants to fully develop the natural gas heavy truck market.

The V3MLNG tractors brought by Beiben Heavy Duty Truck also just participated in the Beijing Auto Show. Beiben heavy steamer staff told reporters that this model is Beiben heavy truck this year's main trolley type, so at the same time participated in two successive exhibitions. "The lightweight design of this car is very good. The overall quality is about 8 tons."

Main engine factory absentee remanufacturing enterprise “扛旗”

At the 2013 natural gas show, there were heavyweight natural gas engine manufacturers such as Weichai and Cummins (China); at this year's Beijing Natural Gas Show, none of the major engine manufacturers came to the show. Engine remanufacturing companies have become major players in this field.

The Zhangjiagang Furui Special Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Furui equipment), which has developed rapidly in the natural gas industry chain and is well-known for producing natural gas tanks, has brought two natural gas engine products.

Furui equipment staff told reporters that these two engines are Furui equipment through the purchase of certain types of engines on the market, through the remanufactured natural gas engine products. "The price is about 70,000 to 90,000 yuan." But when it comes to the current market performance of this product, the staff responded with silence.

Compared to the "low profile" of Furui equipment, an exhibitor named Beijing Diesel Engine Power is more high-profile. The company’s staff admits, “Our products are remanufactured by purchasing Weichai WP series engines with scrapped vehicles, mainly supplying an unknown construction machinery manufacturer.”

The reporter also found an exhibitor named Weifang Hualing Diesel Engine Power Co., Ltd. in the spare parts area. The manual next to the stand's engine clearly states that this engine is a natural gas power developed by the company based on the original 493 (4JB1) engine. "This is a naked cottage, right?" said an industry insider after saying.

Absence of modified passenger cars

Although there are few vehicle manufacturing enterprises participating in the Natural Gas Exhibition, some vehicles that have been remodeled can still be seen in the non-integrated vehicle exhibition areas and become a landscape on the exhibition.

At the relatively remote booth of the FAW Liberation Booth, the reporter discovered a Yaxing LNG experience bus, which was the only natural gas bus at the gas exhibition. As the most mature bus market using natural gas, there are no vehicle manufacturers participating in the exhibition. This may be a problem that the natural gas organizers need to seriously consider.

At the Furrut equipment and another booth, the reporter also saw a Hualing Liquid Handling Vehicle, a Dongfeng Tianlong Liquid Handling Vehicle, and a Dongfeng Special Commercial Vehicle Liquid Handling Vehicle, both of which were brought in by the modified vehicle manufacturers.

In addition to heavy-duty vehicles, the reporter also noticed a Dongfeng CNG light truck equipped with Dongfeng Chaochao’s engine and was brought in by a natural gas engine design company.
