1 Fault situation and analysis Since 2008, the compressed air system of units 6 and 7 of a power generation enterprise has frequently failed to maintain air pressure and frequent addition and unloading of air compressors. In order to maintain the output pressure as much as possible, only the bypass system of the dryer can be turned on, so that a part of the compressed air is directly output without passing through the dryer. This inevitably results in failure of the compressed air aftertreatment equipment and the removal of moisture from the compressed air. Most of the pneumatic equipment has electrical components and leads at the same time. Once the incoming compressed air contains moisture, it is extremely harmful.

The loading and unloading of the air compressor is automatically switched according to the pressure of the main pipe.

Take the company as an example: one air compressor is continuously loaded, but it cannot produce enough compressed air. When the pressure of the mother pipe is lower than 0.69MPa, the other air compressor is automatically loaded.
