Zinc oxide, lead oxide generally higher ore, disseminated fine, symbiotic with the often dense brown iron oxide ore and other minerals, most contain a large amount of ocher primary sludge and ease of clay, gypsum and the like may also contain a soluble salt. The flotation method of lead oxide zinc ore is, in principle, the following:

(l) After floating the sulfide mineral, the vulcanizing agent is added to vulcanize the oxidized mineral, and then treated by the flotation method of lead and zinc sulfide ore;

(2) When the gangue is mainly silicate, a gangue inhibitor is added to collect lead and zinc minerals with fatty acids;

(3) Sodium sulfide is used as an activator of zinc oxide ore, and an oxidized mineral of zinc is floated with an aliphatic amine in an alkaline medium.

For mixed mines, the principle process of “lead lead after zinc” or “first sulfur after oxygen” can be used. That is, flotation in the following order:

Galena lead oxide mineral-sphalerite zinc oxide mineral;

Galena, a sphalerite, lead oxide, zinc oxide mineral.

The white lead ore is good in floatability. When the sphalerite is poor in floatability, the previous process can obtain better indicators. Otherwise, the latter process should be used. Using the latter process, it is possible to avoid the interference of HS and s remaining in the slurry after the leuco-lead ore to the smudged zinc ore, which is beneficial to the suspension of the zinc ore and the reduction of the amount of the floating zinc collector , and may also reduce the lead concentrate. The amount of zinc in the mine.

Lead oxide ore flotation method

Common lead oxide minerals white lead, alumina, lead, arsenic, lead, chromium and molybdenum pyromorphite galena galena like. White lead ore, lead bismuth and molybdenum lead ore are easily vulcanized with sodium sulfide, calcium sulfide, sodium hydrosulfide and the like. However, lead-bismuth requires a long contact time for vulcanization, and the amount of vulcanization is also relatively large. Arsenic, lead, chromite, and chlorite are difficult to vulcanize, and their floatability is very poor. Most of them will be lost in tailings during flotation. In the case of flotation of lead oxide minerals, the commonly used vulcanizing agent is sodium sulfide. However, attention should be paid to the process conditions during vulcanization. Sodium sulfide should not be excessive, because excessive sodium sulfide will cause the concentration of sulfur oxides (HS) and sulfur ions in the slurry to be too high, which will inhibit the oxidation of the lead oxide minerals that have been vulcanized; A large amount of sodium sulfide makes the pH of the slurry exceed ±0.5, which is also harmful to flotation. To avoid harmful effects due to an excess of sodium sulfide, sodium sulfide segment may be added or a small amount of copper sulfate or ferrous sulfate to precipitate after completion of vulcanization harmful ions. When vulcanizing, it is best to use low-speed non-aerated stirring to reduce the oxidation of sodium sulfide and avoid the peeling of the vulcanized film on the surface of the ore. The pH of the flotation should be kept at 8.5--10.

After the oxidation of lead oxide minerals, the most effective collector is long-chain xanthate. For example, the effect of octyl sulphate is better than that of butyl sulphate and sulphate. The black medicine of 25 is also effective.

Although fatty acid collectors such as oleic acid and oxidized paraffin soap can directly capture the oxidized minerals of lead, due to the poor selectivity of fatty acid collectors, it is essential for ores with high carbonate or high iron cyanide. Out of service. Only high-grade ore with silicate-based gangue can be used.

For mixed ore, the principle flow of lead sulfide, sulphurizing agent and xanthate flotation lead oxide is better. If the influence of fine mud and soluble salts is serious, it can be de-sludged or added with dispersing agents such as water glass to reduce its influence.

Zinc oxide ore flotation method

The main zinc oxide minerals are smithsonite (ZnCO3), zirconia (Zn0), willemite (Zn2Si04) and the like. The most valuable of these is the smithsonite.

Zinc oxide ore flotation, currently available in the industry, is heated and vulcanized, floated with xanthate and added with sodium sulfide at room temperature to float with a cationic collector.

(1) Heating and vulcanization flotation method. It is first to remove the fine mud less than 0.001 mm. After concentration, the slurry is heated to 50 - 70 ° C, then the zinc oxide ore is sulfided with sodium sulfide, and the zinc sulfide ore which has been vulcanized is activated by adding copper sulfate. Chain yellow medicine is used as the main collector, diesel oil, tar, etc. as auxiliary collector, pine oil as foaming agent, water glass as gangue inhibitor, and some methods for heating flotation of zinc oxide ore. Good process indicators. However, in the production process, it is often fluctuating due to improper control of various factors. If the ore contains a large amount of iron hydroxide, the effect is even worse.

(2) Cationic collector method. This method is suitable for the treatment of materials with high iron content, and sodium sulfide is added before flotation. Here, the effect of sodium sulfide is different from that of lead-lead copper minerals, and excessive sodium sulfide is not easily inhibited. Therefore, the adjustment requirements for the amount of sodium sulfide and copper sulfate are not critical.

When using a cationic collector, the effect of the slime on the flotation effect is more prominent. However, when the content of fine mud less than 0.01 mm is less than 15%, adding soda, water glass, carboxymethyl cellulose, lignosulfonate, sodium humate, etc. can eliminate the effect, without removing mud.

When the fine mud content of less than 0.01 mm exceeds 15%, the consumption of the chemical agent increases sharply, and the small de-sludge is economically unreasonable. In this case, some of the fine mud is removed in advance. At the same time, an appropriate amount of a dispersing agent such as sodium sulfide sodium silicate is added during desliming. Their essential role in the desliming process is to disperse the fine mud and also to eliminate the effects of some harmful soluble salts.

Example of flotation of lead oxide and zinc ore

A certain place of lead-zinc oxide ore is a medium-temperature hydrothermal metasomatic filling deposit. The types of ore are sulfide ore, oxidized ore and stick minerals.

Primary metal minerals galena, sphalerite, pyrite addition, hematite and limonite. The metal oxide minerals mainly include lead-lead lead- vanadium , smithsonite, zinc-zinc ore and hydrozincite, and a small amount of wurtzite, heteropolar ore and lead-iron vanadium. Zinc oxide minerals account for about 80% of zinc ore and zinc oxide, zinc ore and heteropolar ore account for 18%, and zinc sulfate accounts for about 2%. The gangue minerals are mainly calcite , dolomite, barite , quartz and clay. Dense structure. The thickness is unevenly embedded. The particle size of galena and idle zinc ore is generally above 0.01~12mm.

The content of lead and zinc in the ore is 1% to 2% of the lead grade, the oxidation rate is 20% to 30%; the oxidation grade of the zinc grade is 6% to 7%.

20% - 40%, sometimes 50%; the flotation principle process used by the plant is shown in Figure 5-14, and the pharmaceutical system and dosage are shown in Table 5-4.

The practical experience of the plant flotation lead-zinc mixed mine shows:

(1) Before the flotation of zinc oxide, remove the less than 0.019mm slime with a diameter of 125mm cyclone, which can improve the selection index.

Standard, reduce drug consumption.

(2) The type of amine is related to the flotation index of zinc oxide ore. The purer mixed first amine is better than other amines.

(3) When pyrite is contained in the ore, it is necessary to remove pyrite before flotation of zinc oxide, otherwise the flotation index of zinc oxide deteriorates.

(4) The use of sodium sulfide as a regulator, and strict control of the medium pH value of the pulp is about 11, the effect of flotation is better.
